Thanks and NP on getting out this summer... you'll just have to supply the hot chicks! Platonically speaking of course.
Keeping it at my house, I live really close to the ramp. The engines were built by Atlanta Speed Shop, they are 1000/1100's. There's a picture of the boat on their site. They have an amazing shop with some insane stuff in there, the place has to been seen to be believed!

Hi Scott,
The Sutphen looks pretty good for a 1988. I have been cleaning it all day. Lot of road grime from the trip and the interior was pretty dirty. It was really cool when I opened the engine cover and saw the 2 engines in there. That's a first for me. I removed the vinyl lettering from the transom. I was talking to Jeff today about names. I think I am going to go with "Old School" Anything has to be better that "Go Fish"
Does anyone know a good airbrush guy that can work on a boat? I was thinking vinyl but for what I want to do, I think painting the name on will work better. I need to cover the area where the old letters where, in between the exhaust outlets, and I would like the name to match the stripe on the side in 3 colors of Blue and do the letters in a checkerboard racing style.
I should have some pictures to post by tomorrow or Friday and figured I would start a thread in the Sutphen forum.

Thank you Justin
Yes, the ramp goes right out to the sound, it's just inside Cedar Island. I plan on checking out Hayes. I've heard mixed reviews on how tight the ramp area and access road are, so I'd like to see it for myself. I'm just waiting for a rainy weekend day to look at it. Kind of thinking of using Hayes for Hamburg Cove days and probably Clinton and occasionally OS for the others. We'll see...
Dont think I ever saw that, it wasn't at their shop when I was there, but they did have some other mean boats there.
Oh yeah, strictly migrane maker... but it does have headsets/intercoms for those with tender heads.
Excellent, I'm really looking forward to seeing the pictures as well as seeing both of the new boats on the water. I think you'll really come to enjoy the ride of that 33 a lot, [Hide from Jeff's view] they are great hulls. [/Hide from Jeff's view] The 21 is a super looking boat and will make a great river hot rod, but there will be no comparison out on the Sound.
Congrats again on the new boat(s)!!!
