FYI, if anyone has any commercial real estate laying around in that area, or just a really big house I need to rent something yesterday.

Month to month

Nedds to hold 40-60 people. parking, AC, facilities etc.

Will be a training facility for us temporary. Not sure on total duration, but I would say probably at least 2 months.

Needs tables, chairs, etc.

I guess Power and AC/ heat should go without saying, but, I will put it out there anyway.

THanks,Jeff

How long does it take to get from Grovers to the ocean? Is that whole area a no wake zone or speed limit etc? Looks like several miles?

idle from Grovers to the 1st no wake sign (for boats coming in)......then on plane for a quick blast.....then you will see another no wake sign which you idle for about 5 minutes past Hudson Canal and the Nautical Mile (lots of bars and restaurants)....then on plane again up to the loop pkwy. bridge idle to go under bridge then you are free to run on plane right out Jones Inlet..........ok maby 15 minutes...but not to bad.......

Not sure what their ETA is, but I would guess Monday or tuesday. I might be able to get away from work in the evening on Monday, not sure yet.

Are you going to do the CT run next weekend too? I wish it was here for this weekend, but I have just learned not to rush things anymore and I let things happen when they happen.

Thanks for the info. Where do you guys buy premium on the water? Is there any way to buy fuel without road tax? etc?

its probably best to call one of us for information but i will provide my opinion here:

if your boat is currently in LI, I would recommend that you just run it from there to CT (Pavilion Beach Bar). If you need fuel upon arrival there are two shell stations at the mouth of the CT River with 93. For co-ordinates/locations of card stops I will direct you to this website as they used similar card locations. the hard part for you will be finding pavilion beach bar...just follow the boats after that.

Sept 17's Stops include: Pavilion, Montauk, Claudios

See link below:
http://www.nationalpowerboat.com/oldsaybrook.htm

Locations look like this:

Pavilion: LAT:41.281419N
LON: 072.305145W

Montauk: LAT: 41.071587N
LON: 071.861572W

Unfortunatly it does not show claudios on the map but you can get a good estimate by looking at the orien pt location. Claudios is in Greenport just South West or Orient. Hope this info helps.
