You can't get an accurate reading on speed in the river the current runs 4 to 8 knots and it sounds like it was in full swing Sunday. Jeff I will offer my services to go for an ocean run and I have a hand held god that records top speed so we will have proof.

I would also bet we could get a crew at the OS ramp to welcome you guys back to the dock and see the results! IF IT READS 80 MPH or above, the first round is on ME.

As I stated that day only ran a best of 76 on the way up the river , head wind current etc

Back down near petzolds 81 mph sam near pratt

Just past essex not a boat in sight slight chop from wind saw 83

No doubt down river helped bit it was still 83!

Which way was justin running?

I think justins boat could hit 75 easy with the right weight trimmed out perfect conditions


I wont do it when pushed, so dobt be dicks thats when sh it goes wrong

I could care less it runs what it runs on any given day

If I cant trim it all the way out it wont run that number openly admitted that over and over but if I can without it getting squirrely it will deffinately run the number
