[QUOTE=SS930;3536200]It shouldn't be too difficult to guess the weight of teh trailer within 500 lb.
True, but when trying to find speeds of a boat, the general rule of thumb is 1 MPH for every 100 LBS. So for us boats that run in the 70s or 80s, 500 LBS means 5 MPH...thats a big deal. So guessing at +/- 500 lbs is pretty much useless.
Now if your running 120 MPH, then 5 MPH is nothing and you can afford to be off by 500 LBS! Just my useless .02

Thinkin about this, Jeff is a typical drag/street racer. Its like pullin teeth to get the top speed out of one of these guys! Ive posted real world #s, Justins posted real world #s, Frank posted real world #s....all with a GPS pic OR people that have seen the GPS speed in person. Jeff, just shut EVERYONE (especially me) up by making a couple passes with Frank in the boat and all the drama will be gone.....It will make for a nice photo op too!
I would have taken a pic but one I phone went dead the other is my gps
