Thinkin about this, Jeff is a typical drag/street racer. Its like pullin teeth to get the top speed out of one of these guys! Ive posted real world #s, Justins posted real world #s, Frank posted real world #s....all with a GPS pic OR people that have seen the GPS speed in person. Jeff, just shut EVERYONE (especially me) up by making a couple passes with Frank in the boat and all the drama will be gone.....It will make for a nice photo op too!

Speaking of which, it would be interesting to see what our boats actually weigh, rather than guessing or relying on pie in the sky manufacturers weights. I know next time I pass a scale I'm stopping if I can.

Still dificult to tell without weighting the trailer seperately.

Scot I have been using this calculator for years and I have always gone by the manufacturer wieght. It has always been within 1-2 mph.

Frank, when your dealing with Outerlimits boats, you might as well throw your speed calculator in the garbage. They defy any "speed formula" that we have been using from the last 10 years. Those speed calculator/formulas are for boats that actually touch the water when running over gods earth. OL gives new meaning to the tearm" walking on water".....hehehehe

It shouldn't be too difficult to guess the weight of teh trailer within 500 lb.

I too have found it to be fairly accurate, guess curious about the actual weights... I suspect many mfg published are pretty far off the actual real world weight.
