Close the lid: Cockpit Seminar in OB
#1
The OSS Medical and Safety Team will be presenting a slide show, seminar and discussion on cockpit construction safety immediately after the first drivers' meeting on Friday night in Orange Beach.
The seminar is not mandatory, but strongly suggested. A lot can be learned by attending.
For more information, please call OSS Medical & Saefty Director, David Di Petrillo. Number in the race package.

CUTTING EDGE SAFETY!!!
This is a hot topic right now. THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF CANOPIES, WINDSCREENS, HATCHES and Internal Canopy SETUP.
We strongly suggest any Manufacturers that are racing to attend this meeting. We will ask for input on lamination schedule minimums and other safety "must haves" that are incorporated into your rigs. Kevin Cooper of LaveyCraft (two roll overs- no damage) will exchange some of the points they have learned.
THIS WILL BE AN INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION.
IF YOU HAVE CRASHED and would like to share what failed with your fellow racers so they can fix it in their boat PLEASE ATTEND!!!
Our plan is to develop a current day "LAVIN" bare minimum for OSS boats. This way you have a detailed guide to work with as you build a new boat and or set up your current boat.
If this goes well we will invite venders with TESTED/OSS approved safety products to discuss them in our forum.
THERE WILL BE MANY PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE TO BOATS AFTER ACCIDENTS.

The file is still huge because I gave you the "Full Size" files in the case you needed to blow them up into poster size...
