How do they get 22,500 with only 3 boats and catlite has 8 and gets the same..My math grade wasnt that bad...
If your correct ..you would have to be a Moron to buy an 850..because the 525 is alot cheaper with the same prize money..
Correct????

Hey Tony
The $ are correct. The purse is divided by the number of boats thus the class with the most get highest purse. I got 9k and contingency money for Greer's Ferry and a personel bet of mine to a friend in New Orleans for 5k. (Thanks A.J.!) Around 20 k for me at this race. I think that might be history for me, I actually made $!
The 850's are also collecting Mercury support to the tune of 15k a race for the class. That's why the high purse in 850.
Stan
PS I won 25k at Tickfaw 200 and still lost $ because of my Blower motors in my 40 Skater (acting up),
The plus about the travel is new places with great people , no knock to Florida venues cause I have been to most and they were always great.

Tony,
Take your own advise put 525 that you can afford and try beating the best field ever in any class.Equal power, its all about skill. You already have the boat and the talent. With 10 SCL the purse will be insane.
