In my opinion, everything happens for a reason. No one manipulated anyone - it just happens to be a very unique opportunity for a true World Championship event. Can't imagine anyone being so self centered or self serving that they would boycott KW simply because of any particular sanctioning body or individual. This event is about the sport of offshore racing and is going to be an awesome series of races for all racers and fans alike. Everyone says they want to be united - well here it is - Key West 2008!

Make your point!......I know first hand, how Gino wanted to race a few races with SBI, it just did not work out that way.
It's always about Gino. Jim, Look at all the teams that did the same in OSS, OPA, SBI.

Jim....maybe we need to slow down...I never said you do not support SBI/APBA....
This is the point....
OSS made a offer to JC to only pay the reg fee's of $1650...
and here is my point....You race for 3 days, 2 days of testing, safety, prise money and racing in Key West....now JC gives you that...and in return the OSS racers are not going to support JC in any other of his races in 09.....and at the same time....its only coming down to a handfull of racers that are complaining.....
1. So you think JC should make a consetion to the OSS racers...even though most of them are already going to pay the full fee's.
2. The OSS racers are not going to support any of JC races in 09.
3. You have racers continuing to bust on his Org.
But yet its JC that should forfit money from his business to please 8 or so racers......thats my point....
As far as me not supoorting SBI/APBA...read my post a couple of pages back...I've been racing in SBI/APBA since the BOYCOT....But lets say I did not come to any of SBI/APBA races then the Worlds...I still pay all the fee's for the year and don't cry about it.....

Mike...we all know times are tough....and I think Frank says it best....we all can only do what we are capible of doing....no one is blaming that on anybody....TIMES ARE TOUGH.....but lets make the best of it....and like Frank said...If we don't see everyone down there this year....I'm sure we will next year....

Dean...it might be a little late but the fuel estimates just came out for Nov....it will be right around 3 bucks a gallon...but it looks like it won't happen till Nov 25th.....as long as there are no other Hurricans....
