I recently saw a Freeze Frame video from Marathon 87.
You need to contact Jeff at Freeze Frame Video. He should have some video and possibly and interview too.
I sent an email to Darren and T2x. No reply yet.

I emailed the "Contact us" email on the freeze frame website and also have emailed another website that was posted on here. I've never seen video footage of my dad racing, and I don't remember watching him race since I was so young. If I could find footage, or an interview...it would just be priceless...

There's two sources for video. Freeze Frame and Needle Nose. Jeff -Freeze Frame is in FLA, his number is 239 282 1987.
Darren Luhrs now ownes (with partners) the video tapes from Needle Nose. They cover races back in the 80s. Darren's site is
www.darrensoffshorephotos.com and the video site is www.big-seas.com.
I have an email into Darren and will see what he has upon his reply.
Between these two source, I'd be amazed if you didn't get an interview.
