Hey Louie.....

Thanks...we had ball in K.W.

I heard all the SOB's saying they all wanted to race...and its sad when you put something togheter and they don't show...

What we were looking at doing a few years ago...was putting something together with racers who were already coming to the races....2 years ago everything was so up in the air with all the Orgs, and I was already talking to a company to sponsor the series because and I was selling the Dragon and could bring in my sponsors on top to get some publisity and this seemed to be something that some racers I appraoch were excited and were in and most of all had the money to purchase the boats....plus with them getting money back as the series went on was a no brainer...plus they could not go out and purchase one of these boats for the price I was going to get them for...so if they raced them for even one year to sell them the next would not be a big loss at all.....but the killer for me...was listening to all the BS about people making money in racing...the more you see what some people will do and interfere with what you have....the more it makes you think...unfortuntly its out there in our sport and I'm sure you have seen a little bit of it yourself now that running a succesful race site....So I changed directions to racing there 34 Rib in P class....but the Dragon never sold....but the bottom line is....It can be done....and its is pretty simple, there is a lot of work and time to be invested, but if someone wants to do all the work and time that gose into putting something like that together for free....more power to them....

But....having a race say at 11:00 am on a Sat and then testing right after that and a small race on half the course say for 30 minutes would be kinda cool....plus a lot of teams could used these ribs as there safety boat for there teams....or even put the safety divers on them for the race on Sunday....

I got it now. Well the key is finding people that will put the time in and race like we do come hell or high water. I watched the video Randy posted and those boats are wild. It definatly has possibilties.

Bern, that was Intimidator also if I'm not mistaken, that was a great race weekend. We ran the Strictly Business Activator back then, it was 05' our 1st race with the OPA, Smitty and Anthony did an awesome job and Haggin gave out so many AMF jackets, as we went by the whole freakin shoreline and the battleship were yellow Gotta love those guys. I'll never forget that weekend. Louie

Several people said they were calling vendors on motors and some were calling Steve Curtis. Well what do we have so far?

What about Mcarthy's new Banana boat 24? With a 250 on a plate the older boats topped out @ 70 mph. I know they have a new boat built and it is an outboard boat. This is an outboard boat already in production and is being built custom to order. I think they are looking to campaign a few race boats. This may be a boat worth looking at.
