I wonder if a 225hp would even push a 24ft boat. Those small little euro boats are light, narrow and pretty fast.. nice design but they look freaky to run.
I have a 25ft hull (24' 8" to be exact, check out my avater) with a 1983 200hp Merc. It was clocked at 53.3 mph with Driver, Nav, and two fully loaded divers in it. That was with a 21 3 blade cleaver on her. I'll bet if you play some, you can get 60mph easy.

I'm not familiar with that model boat, I did a quick google search and still nothing.. Is it a small 25ft boat? or a larger deep-v style like the Corsa, Pantera, sunsation.. etc.... ?

I agree, If its to be an outboard class, local honda guy said 18.5k to 19.5k for a 225 retail.

I dont think a 225 is going to push any of the hulls mention to 65/70 mph, Look at the Honda Spec Hull it is completely designed for an outboard, look how the sides protect the engine from getting ripped off. These engines would never stay on with a bracket, Im not an Outboard Guy but why reinvent the wheel. I would think we need to start with an engine package that wants to work with us, supply onsite tech, stern drive or outboard, then work from there. The Jokers and others would be great boats for an low HP Stern Drive but I have my doughts for a single outboard.

You won't find it on google. It was called a Hydrotechnologies. HIN starts with HTQ. I own boat #001 (prob only one built).
HTQ is now owned by a company in Florida. Th guy that built it moved in 95 to Grand Rapids and from there I know not where.

It is 24' 8" long + bracket and engine, and 5'10" at the beam.
It has a small (1ft sq) pad right at the transom. Otherwise, it is deep-v.

You can see a better pick on my website. www.offshorerescue.com

Or here.

Funny! When I saw that video a few months ago, the first thing I thought was "Damn I wish they ran those over here!"

Quick question... Why reinvent the wheel? Isn't someone already making/selling the packages over in europe for the UIM teams? Why not just latch on to that deal?
