They wear helmets and they use prop guards. Looks good to me.

Well with all this talk....did anyone run the numbers and see if 250HP can push any of these boats that have been discussed to 65 to 70 mph....
if a Joker boat can run 78 with a 500hp....can it run 70 with a 250 OB....

Brian...you should know what type of numbers your boat will run with a 250 on it...

Trick if you guys know what kind of numbers your boat would run.....if your going to approach a engine manufacture....it would benifit everyone...if you could do it professionally with a whole proposal and what you want from the manufacture and what you can do for them....with a schedule and a little tv....you my find them even wanting to purchase some tv commercals to promote there engine....

another question....

aprrox. what speed would a cat that weight 1800lbs fully race rigged minus engine weight with a 225 OB and what dose a 225 weight....

I know with a 150HP OB it will run over 55 mph...but did not know what a 225 or a 250 OB would do......

You won't find it on google. It was called a Hydrotechnologies. HIN starts with HTQ. I own boat #001 (prob only one built).
HTQ is now owned by a company in Florida. Th guy that built it moved in 95 to Grand Rapids and from there I know not where.

It is 24' 8" long + bracket and engine, and 5'10" at the beam.
It has a small (1ft sq) pad right at the transom. Otherwise, it is deep-v.

You can see a better pick on my website. www.offshorerescue.com

Or here. :D

I know there was another one of these boats sitting by the Harsens Island ferry in Algonac Mi. for many years it had a single V/6 merc on it with a tubular Gil bracket. It was definatly the same hull very narrow with the magnum sport sedan style cabin deck I had never seen another one till now in your pic's.

Speck Boats !

Guys we don,t need to IMPORT anything it turns my stomach just thinking about that idea. Sparky at Vicious & Brian and Dave @ Joker can build any thing we could possibly need. even if the cost was some higher it wouldn't be that much greater.Brian has Been in this deal from the get go, Sparky to a lesser degree but with no less talent or knowledge. Work the specks first then put the pencil to the cost.Michael A. had it off the ground, Steve.M. has put lots of effort in learning the tricks to strech the equpt & hull to perfection.Lets give our u.s. boys the opurtunity to Step up. P. S. Sparky has put Humpty Dumpty [ TYLER &GEORGES' beloved Veloicity] back together after a serious over throttling by Tyler.I,ll pay more any day than Buy Euro anything, We americans are shooting ourselves in the foot. Amen George, We have the best of everything right here in our own backyard. There are plenty of awesome builders right here in the USA that could use the work and will produce a superior product everytime. I just bought my wife a shiney new Chrysler Convertable hardtop for Christmas, made in Michigan, USA !!! Wake up America, we are on our own.

So true George..

If anyone has an April 2007 issue of H2 Full Throttle Mag around go back and check it out. They have a phenomenal article about the Honda 4-Stroke class from its inception to its current state.

One thing I did notice was that they allow 16yr olds in the smaller 150hp class, once again another great way to build the sport by creating interest with the younger racers.
