Anyone in Class 6 that has the power to run in Class 5 is more than welcome to move up. However, Not all of us can be competitive in Class 5. I don't see any reason to consolidate the two.

True but I just heard people talking about it at O.c. and like I said just talking out loud.. I don't even think we (or they) can change rules for another year.

I like class 6 and would like to see more boats like Akula out racing! It's a great way to get hooked on the sport without the big $$$$ and big headaches.

Maybe, we should look at the placing and points for a break out boat/DNS boat/ Last place boat. I know Gary had some concerns.

This year we raced 7 plus the worlds. Scored in 6. Dropped worst finish. Thoughts?

Maybe

3 Races on the 'East" Coast area

3 Races in the Michigan area (Mid-west)

1 Worlds Down south

Have a East coast Champion (no money, no trophy just glory)
Have a Mid-East Champion (no money, no trophy just glory)
and a over all points champion.

Than have a east and west shout-out for the World Title down south.

------------------------------------------------------------------

I know Gary does not agree with me on this but keep the
"breaking out" as a capital offense.

Bracket racing is all about set up, driving and throttle control
.. just leave it as a capital offense

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Each pit area is required to have a Bikini beach blonde. This
blonde would be used for public relations

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Start money instead of purse until the economy turns around

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Return class 2, TKO and Bull on the beach look like lumbering
giants in #3. The OB cats don't really stand a chance against
those two.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Each boat must run a Michigan Mafia sticker

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Drop worst finish or race not entered.
Breakout should be capital offense, need to have serious consequences.

I like Rick's Blonde Bikini rule!
Don't like Rick's Mafia sticker rule.

How about class 5 and 6 start together, and run the same laps. This allows the fastest class 6 boats to race the slower class 5 boats. This would put all the single engine V's running together-kind of like the old days with Production , Modified and Sport running the same laps and racing each other-but being scored as seperate classes. Just a thought.
