It has been brought to my attention the images submitted did go to the promotional story for ExploreLI. Apparently another writer from the news dept got his hands on the images as well...

The AP can pretty much do whatever they want with the photos once they are submitted to other AP media outlets or posted on public forums (public domain) providing they find it "news worthy" or "editorial"

Crazier things have happened in offshore.
We had a really bad forecast for the Buffalo Poker Run and I know it cost us some boats from showing. Shame they didn't come, we had sunny skies all day and the rain came the next day....
