In my opinion, if somebody is putting together a race boat for $10,000 or less, that person (team) doesn't have alot of money to play with, which means that they are not traveling anywhere more than an hour or 2 drive. I love the idea, I just think they will only race local races. I hope I'm wrong.

would about a smallblock vortec and a 21 ft,how would you make it equal from outboard to inboard so the class would be very close,and johny if i race in 7 my boat will be back up for you guys to set it up,thanks

Arn't you guys describing P1 SuperStock? I don't know a lot about them but was reading up on them last night.
I've been trying to find a way to go racing...
