New rule coming for 2014 SVL. Phantoms and extremes only. All others are out of spec.

Chris why wouldnt your boat be legal in OPA? Is it under 30'? The Outerlimmits,Lavy Craft,Activator and Fountain are also legal with a sealed Merc. 525. Follow the OPA rules and anyone can race with OPA. Its the ultimate proving ground for your product when everyone has the same sealed Merc 525 built by the same company.

Chris, now I understand your issues. Im sorry I thought it was a 30' hull. As I stated before I think your boat should fly and it will be very succesfull. How is the rigging coming along? any pics?

Why not a class vote to amend the rules to allow 31'6.

It's not like his boat was a big surprise and just dropped on the class a week before the first race. I have been fallowing the build for the better part of a year now.

How do they measure exactly? Drop a plumb bob off the nose and the point where the transom would meet the bottom ( if there was no notch ) Then measure accross the ground to those two points? Surely bussels dont count in the length measurement, do they?
