data logging for 1200$ seems better on the surface than sealing..

I dont remember complaining about my performance in Jupiter. I also remember Wil and Larry running more out of control than I have ever seen there boat and they will tell you the same. I aploud Wil's effort to run that hard like it was the last 100 yards of a race. They ran like that for miles while you ran nice and flat with an exra HP advantage. I congratulated Steve Kildal on his victory as I recall. I will say it again. Great job Steve Kildal on your win in Jupiter. You did an outstanding job from start to finish and a well deserved win.
A decade of secret meetings ???????? LOL WTF are you dreaming up now. You have to do better than that.
I think its great you run a data logger. I have NEVER said it was a bad idea. It never seemed to get any traction with the majority as the fail safe. Not sure why, I personaly liked it. Maybe you should have spent the time and energy calling the teams and explain the pros and cons instead of putting a post on a forum and expect the teams to jump at your idea. Oh thats right that would be considerd secret calls.
This is getting old and I dont think most give a hoot about what you think of me. Lets stop the history lessons and just race.

This can't possibly be the same Randy Schleuss. You gatta admit, he's doing a great job on the high road.
Even Steve can't bait him on. Just my own obsevation of a guy who sat back and watched the SVL race in Jupiter. Mistake number one by OPA. Allowing the Vortech's 5600 rpm, following the old rule when the Vortech's were not as strong as the 525. The extra RPM allowed them to be one prop pitch shorter. Advantage in the rough. Obviously the Vortech has been improved upon over the years. Should have matched them in RPM. The Vortech's are in the 600 range in power, 525, 560 range. It showed. Blind man could see the difference. The teams that race up north wanted to stick with the merc sealed 525. They have done a great job in putting the class back together. Steve, Steve, and Mark should have been consulted, but I believe the mindset was they were either selling their boats, or racing with SBI. If either of you seriously want to race with OPA you have my number, I am available all week. Give me a call. I know I have been hard to reach of late, but most of the Sandy caios is over and things are settling down. There is no itention to eliminate anyone. Just needed to have a solid set of rules. Randy is just a team in all this drama, just like the rest. No reason to single him out. Lets work towards a resolution. Smitty

We dont want to get all hung up with what wasnt done in the past. Its a new year going forward and things are looking great for this class for the first time in a long time. We must be doing something right.

He would rather travel around at that embarrassing pace he displayed in Jupiter. I have 2 sealed OSS 525's A Factory sealed 525. Want to do it again like KW Randy? You can pick which 525 we use.
Steve
Steve what place did you finish at the worlds in Key West 2011? Who got 2nd behind an un inspected Fountain. lol pick one of your sealed 525's which ever, your choice, put it in your boat and come and play with us. you may be seeing a turd from a different view this year. It was great having you guys race last year at Jupiter and your performance was outstanding, a real eye opener in a lot of ways. We have been very motivated to step our game up. Good Luck.

No answer? Is that because you know I am right? There is no way to tec so you have rules you can't enforce.
