Outerlimit guys
 

Where has Outerlimits been since last August. Fountain has the speed record like it always will thats one thing, and they dominate on the race course. I do have to give it to you guys you do have the better custom sit down poker run boats for now. I mean that 47gtx with the removeable canopy is down right awsome. But lets face it an Outerlimits will never ever be as good as a Fountain

180 means nothin if you cant win on race day!!! Custom or not it is still the fastest V and always will be. Why dont you scrubs go try and race em in SBI. The Corvette isnt custom like a Ferri or Lambo but it still kicks everyones ass. I mean it won every fricken race last year just like the fountains do. And who would spend a million dollars on a over priced piece when you can spend half and kick its ass. Go race!!!

what does that mean fastfountain, it sounds like your a Fountain guy then you must be a trader. Fountain makes some boats that cost near OL it all depends on the power every OL has huge money motors. I did admit that OLs are bad ass boats. But what wins on race day? Thats all that matters, like I said about the Corvette. Oh and it better be custom if you only make 30 boats a year and there all a million dollars. If you were to spend that much on a boat it Should be a Skater. Oh Im not cheap Im 21 with my own 2005 29 Fountain and by the time Im 30 I will have a SKATER.

Same on this note... no one will cross a street to look at a corvette. Can't say that about the exotics. It ain't all about speed, its about style too.

Another newbie coming on the board, with 9 posts, just to bash. WHAT BOAT DO YOU OWN? I hate when people come out of the woodwork or possibly hide behind a screen name. They are like Dallas Cowboy fans, ya hear nothin' until they win. Then they don't go away. It's like a boil on your A$$.

I honestly could care less about race day, I just enjoy going to them and hope it's one of the guys that I know that WIN!

You couldn't pay me enough to be out along the Jersey Shore in a Fountain!

skater builds the best vees and cats..... and racing really doesn't prove anymore than who has the best throttleman/driver combo.... and i wouldn't let tomtbone pay me to ride in his fountain and i bet he has a vette too... :D i think they both come with the gold chain starter kit... :D :D

2) I can see you may be "personality impaired", as you join a forum and start bashing.

3) The people here do respect Fountain, and actually respect what Instigator just did. But I bet ya that was a million $ boat too. It is also a CUSTOM race boat.

4) If memory serves me right, Joe was in an Outerlimits for the NYC Poker Run.

5) If it was "All about race day" we'd all be racing and there'd be no PLEASURE Boats.

6) Fountain has a beak, and it will always get mocked on, Get over it already! And, yes the will win most of the races they are in!

7) I could be wrong on this point, but I'm am under the assumption that Skater makes the hull for the Fountain race boats.

8) OLs & Cigs will always dominated the Poker Run scene. Fountains will always dominate at the races. It's a fact! End of story!

9) BTW - Second place isn't a bad place to be. At least by coming in second you are in it.

10) Why would you post this in the Outerlimits Owners Forum? HELLO! Of course your gonna hear crap in here. What did you expect? Putting down an OL in this forum is like going to someone's home and insulting their momma. Ya just don't do it. You should have put this in General Discussion.

Hey lucididee thats cool that your a chick thats into these boats. You had some good points that I did agree with, and if you read the first thing I wrote to start the thread I did give OL some mad props And yes Fountain is just finally making a poker run boat. Fountain makes all their hulls as far as I know. I just think that just because I stired up a little **** some of these people take it a little to seriously Im just havin some fun. Oh and second place not being so bad get a clue then tell me who lost Superbowl #1 and all the others, point is no one and I mean no one remembers second place. Go check out what I said about Skaters in their forum. And yes OLs, Cigs they are extremly awsome boats. And the million dollar thing is that if you spend the same amount on a Fountain and a OL you will go faster, look better, with a Fountain, no one else has a beak that doesnt bother me and by the way who do you think invented the steped hull and notched transom.

I couldn't tell ya who won the Super Bowl last year neither. And I watched it! I think I just rooted for the team I liked least! I'm a Raider fan.

Comparing the 2 boats is like comparing NASCAR and Indy, ya just can't do it. They were bulilt for different types of racing.

The bottom line is "He who has the most $ wins! And always will!"

Heres one thing Im sure we can all agree on: Fountains Outerlimits and Cigarettes are the real deal. So dont you hate it when people with their little cool lake boats wanta be off shores like Nordics, Hustlers, Advantages, Eliminators think they are all that and a bag of chips when their really nothing but a bag of chips

I usually don't even respond to posts like this, but you are so far off base with all of your statements that's it's ot even funny. For one Skater has been laying up v's for several companys for a long time, just never built their own. corvette is not runnign a company GM is :D
Fountian doesn't run a very financialy sound company, reggie had to sell half of it to make things work, very similair to Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari never went in to buisness to make money, he had a passion for racing just like Reggie Founain. While I can appreciate that, when you get down to it, Outerlimits runs a more profitable company then Founain. Fountain has done alot for the sport over the years, but I think with the new owners there will be a little less money for the racing budget in the future. And by the way, I don't care who you are, doing speeds upwards of 160 in a V is just asking for trouble. My next problem with you is your name calling, Raggind on someone in the name of fun is one thing, but coming in here and calling people you don't know "idiots" is just downright rude. You did get put in your place by a chick by the way, do you even know the history of the boat pictured in her avatar? probably not huh. Next up, you say you are 21 and own a 29 foot beak boat. Well there are a couple possible situations there, and none of them are respectable if you ask me. One is that the boat belongs to Mom and Dad in wich case it aint yours, you could have bought it with Mom and Dads money wich is no better. You could also have bought it on a 15 year loan and are still living with Mom and Dad, wich is just poor financial planning. Growing up in Southern California I watched alot of people do this and then find that they couldn't buy a house cuase of the boat payment. Buy a house before a boat. There is just no way that a 21 year old can afford to buy that boat with honest money and in a finacialy responsible way. No go away, we are done with you here and tired of hearing you talk out of your azz.

Love these guys that get a basic membership - add 5 years to their age - claim to have brand new boat (can't afford platinum or gold after buying brand new boat?) and the only thing they do is stir it up. I bet he keeps the boat in a secret underground garage beneath his dealership - next to his Enzo. Go to a Nascar site to cheerlead and stop wasting bandwidth here.
