Congrats and best of luck with the new Boat . 97 mph all day long with Merc Maximus and low 100's with Herrings. Should have no issues with the XR's with Stock ECU's. I personally wouldnt give up the reliabilty to gain a couple MPH with the Mods.Just my opinion, either way enjoy your new boat !

With the 5 blade maximus you won't run the boat over 100mph. You need to go with 6 blade herring - 34 pitch. They have a lot of slip while plaining but Herring cupped the ears on mine for better grip. I think with the stock setup you will run right at 100-102mph with the Herrings. Whipple upgrades 1 or 2 will bring the boat up over 105mph easy, the stock 600sci push very little boost and at WOT feels like there is nothing there. Congrats on the purhcase you will really like the boat.

No, and 6 blades would eat up drives....they also manhandle the boat, if it does have bravos, be prepared to go through units, or be light on the sticks...Just my humble opinion...
Should've bought liquidator...better setup and rock solid hardware....if that boat was from florida, be prepared to replace those bladders. I've seen this boat...good luck with it either way....
