I tried one and Pat is absolutely correct, not enough diameter and a lot of slippage. Also too much stern lift and no speed.

Hit 68.4 Saturday. Light 2 foot chop, 55*,1/2 load fuel.
It actually runs faster with more weight in the boat. More prop in the water?

I meant it helps. That cold air should add a mph or 2.
Just wait for the water to chill abit. better prop bite in denser water.

I think we are just going to finish off the season and maybe start the next one with the 26B1. We have a much bigger motor going in for next season so right now, it runs fine.
