Once you go solid you won`t go back! Great job Tom, your ride will be smokin now with the solid roller set up and the T&D shaft rockers.

Thanks Albert
I get goose bumps on my arms thinking about running this new pwr.
Rob,
This project is about two months late. One thing leading to another. Its been killin me watching all these mtr builds and not having mine ready.
I was just told that the pedestals for the shaft rockers wern't working right, so we are ordering some more from T&D after speaking to them
Maybe there will be some summer left by the time we are done.
This last set back most likely means I won't have enough time for testing before going to Panama city. I wont be able to bring the boat

Tom what do you mean that the pedastals are not correct. I hope they have the geometry right on your rockers. Be aware that shaft rockers have to be exact on the head, any mismatch can cause severe damage. T&D are the best set-up for any race motor, I have always run Jesel, however, after many dyno testing through the years they are not exact on the ratio. T&D`s are going in this year after the summer and fall.

I forgot the correct names of each component , but
The alignment was not quite right so we ordered new stands for the heads.
Basicly the rocker's shaft or axel fixes on a mount called a trunion. That trunion bolts directly to the head stand. The stand was not giving the assembley the correct geometry. We are looking for a stands to give us the angle on the dangle that is good.
I was told there could have been a production change that is giving us this problem. Canfield has been contacted to see if they have the stands that will work.(Some kind of buddy deal with John at Canfield or something)

I installed the -8 AN fittings and lines from the tank tonight. This "95" model has a 120 gal tank and the threaded bung is 3/8npt. I did discover the siphen(sp) tube is slightly larger than the - 8 (thank God) so the change in size works for me.At firt I thought I wasn't going to be able to change from the 3/8 line. Removed the hard 90* brass and she should flow much better.

I plugged the old hole thru the transom for the trim cable and re-ran a new cable and a different set up for the trim. This way when the indicator goes up it is trimming up. Man that use to bug me when it was opposite yea I know the pic sux. I'll get the gell patched up soon
Just got the call.. engine is all hooked up on the dyno. It will be fired up tomorrw and after the break in pulls will be made!
