up date:
Fixed a poor coil wire connection, Installed a thermostat and bypass line, and verified total timing. Took it out tonight and it seemed to run stronger. I finally got the engine to run at 150* I unfortunately have too much water pressure now. I need to make my bypass line a little bigger.I basicly had to abort the mission because I couldn't run it more than half throttle. One of the other Items I was checking on was the fuel pressure readings. It seems like it may want to drop on me but it was hard to tell because I was having to lift due to the water pressure.
I feel good about the changes and the progress today, just wish I could have tested more.
what do you guys think The Holly should see for pressure @WOT ......7-8# ??

I've been slow to make progress w/ boat. Work is eating up the time.
I have tested the boat a few times to work out the issues. the last thing on the list is the water pressure. (which should be handled w/ the dump).
Next trip out I should be able to hammer it and check on holding correct fuel pressure.
Here is a pic I snapped off today. nothing really changed too much that you can see.

Default update

Well it looks like I've ironed out the little issues, fuel pressure, water pressure , temp, bla, bla...
I had the boat to 79gps. I had to use excessive trim to pull the rpms where I wanted them. I'm a little confused about this, but the boat doesn't pull like I think it should.
I'm installing a different ignition system this weekend to see if I have a weak spark. I'm also double checking my module to make sure it isn't retarding in the upper rpm range.
Hopfully I can test it tomorrow.

Chris,The prop is a bone stk bravo1 26 . (Your swim platform looks great!!)

Thanks Sean, but I think something is not working like it should.
Bottom line; I shouldn't hit a wall like I am and have to trim so heavy. At least I don't think I should have to.
Dyno says well over a 100hp more than I had. Sure doesn't feel like it. I put the msd stuff in tonight. I'll test tomorrow.
If this isn't the magic formula then a cam swap might be in the near future.
I will keep you guys in the know.

Cam up or down Tom? Maybe look for more torque? Are the heads 345's or bigger? It Looks great and seems like you are going in the right direction.
