What all did IMCO have to replace????? There was hardly even any fuzz on the magnet at lube changes. Maybe the stock lower???Originally Posted by Dude! Sweet!

Basically, everything but the cases and the propshaft... That drive was at least 6 - 7 years old right? Imco said that there wasn't anything broken, everything was basically outside the acceptable tolerances. With the new power, I thought that I'd play it safe and take their advice. Who knows, could be BS, but I feel good about doing it.

All of my hours on the boat except for the first 5hrs were with that drive.
Nothing lives forever bud!
Nothing cheap about it, bud!

Let me know next time you are going to flush it out. I will record it and play it at home (over & over). Actually, I will get a ghetto blaster and play it in the dinghy so people will think i have serious power in that thing.

Then you'd have to fix it, not just freshen, and fix anything that happened cuz of it, and then there is always down time.
We're probably going to do a test flight tomorrow. Open your window tomorrow afternoon!
