My son was only 2 months old when we learned that his skull would not allow his brain to grow. If an operation was not performed.....well I'm sure you can imagine how bad the effects could have been.
We live in Hollywood Florida and there is a "Childrens" hospital named The Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital. We worked with a few doctors that were the best at what they do. My son had a 4 inch section of his skull bone removed.
I will ask my wife for the telephone numbers of the specialist doctors that operated on my son if you would like to get a few 2nd opinion's or possible referrals.
The hardest thing I ever did was hand my son over to the Doctors before his operation, but I am glad I did.
Here is a picture of the helmet worn for 10 months after the operation to shape his skull. We were allowed to remove the helmet for only 1 hour a day and I took the 2nd picture when I got my new Pantera shirts.

I CANT ELL YOU HOW MUCH IT HURTS TO SEE ANY CHILD IN PAIN. ABOUT A MONTH AGO I HAD TO TAKE DOMINIC IN TO HAVE TUBES PUT IN HIS EARS. WELL, TO SAY THE LEAST, IT WAS THE LONGEST 10 MINUTES OF MY LIFE. WHEN I GOT BACK TO SEE HIM STILL WOBBLIE FROM THE DRUGS, ALL I COULD DO IS CRY AND HOLD MY LITTLE MAN UNTIL HE WAS BACK ALERT. SCARED TO CRAP OUT OF ME. GOD GAVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE WITH DOMINIC AFTER MATTHEW. I WANT TO TRY TO GIVE JONATHAN A CHANCE TO LIVE.
PERIOD.
THANKS GUYS
