My 28 has been sold!!!
Hopefully new owner chimes in here soon. He's a really great guy and I am happy that he bought the boat to enjoy and care for!!!
|
Glad to hear that you were able to sale your boat - I also really like your new Hustler...
|
New owner,....well that would be me. The boat will be located on Lake George in upstate NY. The motor will be built by Jason Saris at Performance Marine, Bolton Landing, NY. Right now the boat is having the wrap removed so that the hull will be all white again. The guy who is doing the work couldn't believe how clean the boat was. It looks brand new.
Kirk, I can't thank you enough for such a smooth transaction including the delivery. You were a pleasure to do business with and I look forward to talking to you again soon. I'll begin posting some pictures as soon as things start coming together. Once again, thanks. Norm ps - I guess that I'll have to change my avatar soon. |
Cool...have fun. Don't forget the pics.
|
Welcome to the club Donzin you will love the boat ..... I was a new guy last year with the same situation, bought with no power and rigged it over the winter. Also excellent taste with an all white 28 Highly Recommended!! :cool-smiley-026:

I don't get it, I think Lake George has more bad azz Pantera's on than it anyway where else I know of. :) Congrats, Doug
|
Congrats, hopefully I'll see it up there this summer. Keeping the Donzi?
John |
John,
No, I sold my Donzi to a gentleman who lives in California and has a summer home on Lake George. So, although the boat will no longer be mine, it will still be on Lake George. Norm |
Cant wait to rig it Norm!
|
Congrats to both of you.
|
Another bad-azz single on Lake George! Make sure to get your mufflers! I won't be returning unless I invest in a set.

Gladhe8er,
I know what you mean. I was there this past Columbus Day weekend for the noise level testing. The guys at Performance Marine are building something that will pass so I don't send the summer with $50 tickets from the Lake George and/or State Police Patrol. |

Donzin,
Congrats on your 28. I use to run Lake George with my 24 Pantera, and my 22 Donzi classic when I lived in Saratoga. Living in lake Havasu now gives me more boating time. I also had work done on my 24 Pantera at Performance Marine, They worked on my exhaust, good choice!! You will find quite a few Panteras on that lake. Good luck. Jeff |

Gladhe8er,
I live about 1/2 a mile from Siena. Rest assured, they are still having the best 4 years of their life up there. |

Congrats on the boat Donzin. Will have to give you a shout if we ever head back up there....I was the guy in the 29 Fountain that got written up that Columbus Day weekend...my avatar was actually taken that weekend. Anyway, we (Gladhe8er and I) have a place about 10 mins outside downtown, so we try to make it up there a couple of times a summer. Can't wait to see it when the guys over at Performance Marine get done with it.
|
Congrats Kirk! I just sent you an email, look forward to hearing from ya.
For those of you that were looking and maybe missed out, I will be selling my 29' Phantom this spring. Or buy now and get to pick how its finished!!! :D |

Shes here :D Clean is an understaement, this boat is immaculate. The rigging that is already there is done VEry niceely and the whole boat looks awesome. If we didnt already have the Avanti dad would be in the market for a SBC one. He likes it that much :D
|
If the guys at Performance Marine are happy,...I'm very happy.
Thanks Johnny |
It needs a few things here and there, but it was a boat we used every weekend. Tried to keep it as clean as we could.
I was most impressed with the transom work honestly. I have never seen such a perfect job. Transom tips and keys for tool box should have shipped today. I will verify tomorrow with my shipping guys. If you guys need anything at all its at cost!!! That was my promise to Norman. CMI Headers, Livorsi Gauges, CP Performance, Rex Marine, Revolution Marine, Lifeline...name it! Kirk |
Thanks Kirk, I think we got most of that covered but you never know.
Teaser pic.... http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o...normteaser.jpg |
I forgot my GPS power cord and also the mount. I dont know how you can get the mount off its one of those two sided tapes, but holds real well.
|
|
Johnny,
Looks sweet. Thanks for the updates, I'm lov'in it the pics. I'll be up to visit you guys towards the end of next week. Norm |
Sounds good Norm
|
Well done guys. I assume you used the jig. What type of paint did you trim it with?
How was the cutting? I think the guy did a great job on the transom. |
We coated it with resin then imron. Totally sealed now. I gotta agree the transom was done really nice
|
