Motor will get dyno the following week so its not happening. I'm a bit late as usual. We may make the pilgrimage to tawas if my wallet allows, def a.c., maybe st Clair, no to port Huron. Then well finish with the rest of the season on the east coast races. Long beach, Solomon, etc, etc..... Boat is looking awesome by the way, great job on it. |

careful when you drill it carbon fiber tends to splinter, when we drill it at work we use a special drill bit that has flutes at a different angle

I'll get a fresh bit & go ez. I was planning to cut the scoop vent with my dremel trio. It seems to do well on almost all materials. That'll have a grill insert to hide any cutting flaws, the pins will have the beauty rings, and the hinge holes will be concealed by the hinge itself. MD |
