I think the Court just gave them a conscience, whether they wanted one or not. That means the suits will not be stayed, and I read it as they will not be allowed to enter into any bankruptcy chapter for a year, which I assume means voluntary or involuntary. They also want their operating reports updated, and pronto.
I've never seen a Court judgment like this one, not that it hasn't been done, just have never seen one. Sounds like a pretty PO'd judge.

Interesting. It always sucks when someone gets screwed. Reality is, this is a small family owned business that's been around a long time. Not the greatest business people but very good craftsmen. I bought a used pantera based on praises from other owners and support from the builder. Part of what sold me on the product is that when I found a boat, I called Pantera and was amazed they could rattle off the full history of the boats, known problems if any and who the previous owners were. A lot of boat builders are no more, it's been a tough economy on the little guy. I'd like to see these guys survive and make things right with those that are disgruntled.

I'm guessing the sympathy and love of history only go so far. I haven't made a list, but looking through the amazing amount of threads relating to this very company, most that touted their boats do not own one. They either sold them and moved to another brand, or never owned one. Some still have them, and I seriously doubt you'll see them buying another. Look for yourself, why is that?
