ive seen those trees before. typically the trunks dont get big enough to use for stringers. and they are known for slowing a boat down tremendously when used in the bow or under the flooring. show up at a party with it and it wont last long at all

Hey guys, it's been a while! I've been complicated with work and trying to swing by the shop to work on the boat and haven't really had much time to do much of anything at all but reading up on this debate has definitely made me miss this lmao anyway, boat has been moving slowly but it's moving haha after I got the battery boxes put in I finally started with the paste on the deck and its taken up most of my time cause I'm thinking of painting my whole boat blue except for the hull so I know how much more the defects come out on dark colors so I'm trying to do the best work possible. Also cleared out the wood from the cabin entrance and where the gauges were and put in the small pieces of foam to help support the deck so it won't flex as much if someone were crazy enough to get on it lmao

Going to post some pics now my little ol' way since I don't have photobucket or what not so tell me what you guys think. Tmm ill be back at it and hopefully it'll be just getting it ready to throw the primer by the beginning of next week the latest

Threw some gelcoat today to give the deck a little more body so we can take care of the imperfections and then give it another coat if needed and then the deck will be done
