Sounds like a nice package apart from the weight , did you buy the motor from larby on boat mad Nick .

Just over 5000 lbs on the trailer (plus same again in lead) sorry for the error......

i am not convinced what was in there is right

CIG3 02-04-2015 02:24 PM

Something in the 600 range will work fine.

Red Roar 02-04-2015 02:29 PM

ok thanks i have found a yuasa marine one that seems reasonable but thats 80ah 450cca ?

dereknkathy 02-05-2015 05:45 AM

i started one of my 454's with a lawnmower battery once. brand new lawnmower battery. part of what you are looking for in batteries is where they fit and ballast. a counterweight for the driver. but the fact boxes pepe made hold the big 27 series ones and you notice he put them on the opposite side from the driver.

Red Roar 02-05-2015 05:49 AM

i have found some better ones now and cheaper so happy but i have two small form ones so max 85ah not 110ah on mine and i have one each side so equal ballast

have tried to call Rex marine on six occasions and sent four emails.
he has gone off the end of the planet for now. anyone know any other steering boss other than the Rex one to fit the Morse steering control.
