so gentlemen, we are approaching the time when we want to run her up and test her.
anyone got any tips as to how to go about that in a garage on the trailor and keep her cool etc |
If it's on a trailer why not just drag it outside and put it on the hose ?
is a hose enough then ? i was going to drop the leg into a plastic dustbin and keep filling it with a hose. that way i would know if i had enough water for it.
Even better if you have a large bucket .ps allways run the motor with the leg in the down position , never run it with the drive past the full trim position ie trailer position .
ah ok thanks Paul i was on the right lines then. we have some big plastic dustbins that will work well enough
Just keep the hose in the barrel to keep it full of water.
yes i was thinking if i did that at least i could see if i was using more water that the rate i was filling at.
the large bins i have i can put over the leg then drop the leg into the down position |
i am looking at a ram to raise the engine compartment hood on the 24 does anyone know the weight of it or any tips as to one ram or two or what power needed.
