28 Pantera Windscreen?
#1
Has anyone done or seen a windscreen for a 28?
I borrowed a pair of "Wind Aways", but the fairing is too fat for them to clamp to. I've seen where a grap handle is mounted and then a deflector is then mounted to that.
I'd like a full deflector going all the way around. A powder coated aluminum one would be way cool or some clear lexan. With a curved lip at the top.
Even if you had one....would it work? You sit up pretty high.
Thanks
Bruce

Good question. Since Pantera is on the list for my next boat, I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe there's a way to fashion some clear 1/4" plexi and mount it with some type of thumbscrew so it is removable? I have WindAway's on my current boat and they make it so much more enjoyable, too bad they don't work on the Pantera.

Jo and I talked about adding a lexan lip to the boat when mine was built and at the last minute I decided aginst it. So I know Jo has the ability to get it done. Much like what you see on the Baja's

I found it next door in the Sunsation forum. It looks like it would be perfect.

What made you decide against it Von Bongo? The Outlaw style one is the one that I think of too.
I figured JO could get it done, I was hoping to see other examples, and if you did one, would it be effective?
I have a piece of plexi that I will mock up to test. My wife puts her feet up on the fairing while underway and says it helps move the air off her.
