Do your bolsters drop back or to the side?

They drop to the side.
I'm not sure I have a preference yet.

I think I would like it better if they dropped to the rear. You're the same height as me, so you'll stick out of the standing up, too. If they dropped back to different degrees you could kind of sit/stand leaning into the V and still have something under your rear.

I've been told the rear drop outs can be annoying.
They tend to bounce into your legs more than side dropouts.
The previous owner of my boat had a piece of velcro on the passenger bolster leg to attach to the seat. It would hold the seat against the cockpit liner.
Did that make sense???

The boat had some foot rests that Pepe did over in Pirelli to match the cockpit. They should help me squat down in the bolster some more so I don't stick out so much... but that's what you get w/ a low profile/low freeboard boat.

Maybe get some 4" cutouts like the new 28s.

Most of the new 24s that we are building now customers are requesting our custom race sit down seats. We still offer stand up bolsters with drop outs.We can have the drop outs go to the sides or to back.We use a pin to lock them down in to place so they are not moving around in the down position.The angled foot rest do help out while standing.
