What about Lake George?

Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Hey Guys:
I guess I'm not the first 525EFI...looks like Greg (Pantera 572) has that honor. I hope he posts his speeds. |

I can't tell you how upset I am that I don't have my boat yet and that I'm not the first 525EFI. When you got your boat in February of this year I was told I was next...it is now June 3rd and I still don't have my boat. I have tried to keep my posts upbeat and positive, but now...I give up!! |

I hate to say it but I will.... I TOLD YOU SO I FEEL REALLY BAD FOR YOU. I WILL PM YOU THE NAME OF A PLACE IN FLORIDA THAT HAS HAD TO FINISH OTHER BOATS THAT PANTERA CAN'T KEEP THEIR COMMITMENT ON, AS WELL AS WHERE YOU CAN GET THE EXACT BOLSTERS IF THEY STILL AREN'T IN. Hopefully it is right around the corner......keep us posted. |
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Sorry for the stupid question but do you pay in full for the boat when ordered? or do you just give then a deposit till delivery?
|
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Anyone else, but me, would pay an initial deposit then make progress payments.
|
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Hey Full Throttle 525, has the factory given you a reason for the delay? I saw your boat months ago, it was real close to being finished.
|

Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
EXCELLENT!
great news Ron! |
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Looks great Jo!! Do you put the swim platform on after the engine is in? I might put one on my new 28, but was going to do it prior to the engine going in.
Full Throttle 525 - I'm sure the boat will be worth the wait, probably one of the best to be created!! |
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Well, that is good news. Looks nice

Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
JROMY:
FYI the factory called me later that morning and told me that the seats were in and they were snapping the cockpit cover and the bow cover into place. What you are looking at is what the seats looked like before their installation. |

The boat was not sea trialed as of this past Saturday. JO spoke with me Saturday and told me that they were going to run it this week and try a few different props. I'm hoping delivery is right after that...it's going to be a hot one this weekend!! |

Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Gentlemen,
Ron gave me a shout this morning & he seemed to be in good spirits. My understanding is that "Splash Down" is to take place today complete w/ a sea trial. ron can't be there himself but I'm hoping the next post is from him or jo w/ all the details! Michael |

Hey Robby L (38cigarette):
Thanks for the comments...I guess I'll be boating a lot(ha-ha). I hope there wasn't anything serious with my throttle...I haven't heard from the factory yet if they went out again to test it. Guess I'll have to wait until Monday to find out. Ron |
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
FT 525 - Any word? This weekend is the NY City Poker Run. I may be running my Checkmate down to watch. It would be nice to meet you out on the water and see the boat!
|
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
JROMY:
I heard from the factory today and they were waiting for a part from UPS. It would be nice if I could join you this weekend, but it all depends on how the boat runs and if it will be ready in time. I'm sure JO will post the results of the sea trial. Any guesses on speed?? I really like the bigger Pantera letters on the sides and the positioning of the eyes. Linda told me they were going to change it and it really looks GREAT!! FT525 |
Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Ronnie......Stay on top of him.........Your close to Splash Down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Hey Full Throttle 525

Re: Hey Full Throttle 525
Mr. J-Romy, I understand what you are doing, about 2 weeks ago I found out from 3 different people that you and Ronnie are best of pals, while you pretended to be a concerned OSO member, IT's OK I will miss your sale, Have a great day, Pepe @ Pantera.

I also returned all calls and was honest about any delays. My customers NEVER suffered as a result of any mishaps due to my negligence, again, I was the one to suffer to make sure the job got done no matter what the issue was. My point is life is full of disappointments, late arrivals, cancellations & more what makes this any different from any of those? Sure, but a late arrival, cancellation, etc., usually doesn't cost $100,000 or more. FT525 posted pics last summer, and it didn't look any different that his most recent pics. I'm sure he's been paying interest on that money, and at $100,000 plus (I'm assuming) that's considerable. I'm glad you're happy with your progress, that's all that matters. It also shows that things do run well down there. Good luck with your boat. Michael |
