Congratulations to Jerry Memoli and his "Goumada team" for taking first place in the OPA Race! Jerry and John topped "Carrabbas" (2nd place) for the win. It was a great NJ rough water race. "Simply Awesome" also ran great, however broke on the last lap. "Sonic Boom" another 28' Pantera, also fell victim to mechanical gremlins.

I can't believe no one from the Pantera Company, or other P5 racers responded to congratulate Jerry. ??? I would have thought that some reccognition is in order being that this is Jerry's second 28 Pantera.?? Jerry is always a good sport and puts countless hours of pleasure and test time...
My money is on Jerry and team "Goumada" for the Atlantic City OPA Race this July!

My Family and I personally called Jerry on his cell phone and left him a message on Monday morning the day after the race congratulating him.

We are very proud of all our Pantera race teams going out and Kickin ass.

We will be out racing with our own F2 factory race boat very soon.

Pantera has always built its reputation and testing from racing and will continue to do so.
