Thanks for looking, we went down last weekend and, like you, didn't find anywhere to put the boat. We have decided to move the boat to Orange Beach at Sportsman Marine they where the closest to us that could house and take care of the boat. Looks like I won't be making the Tickfaw 200.

When exactly is the closing of registration. The online mail in entry form says 13 April, but will we be able to sign up like the Thursday or Friday (May 5th & 6th)? I may have some ride alongs who may want to draw a hand, but wont know for sure if they are coming till that week.

For guys with smaller boats, is it more practical to take the boat out each day? Or are there any hotels with marina's within a reasonable uber ride away? I'm sure everything near Blood River is booked, but maybe something near Madisonville?
Just some hick from Lafayette trying figure this all out lol.

Spots to tie up overnight at Blood River go fast. One year I was able to find a little nook that nobody else could fit in and we left the 232 there overnight, that worked pretty well also.

You can usually find a spot to dock in Bruce's Harbor, which is the neighborhood adjacent to Blood River landing.
It's a little shallow, but I haven't seen anyone get stuck.
I dock there every year and never had a problem.
There are motels in Denham Springs that aren't too bad of a ride from the marina. (30-45 minutes)
We put in the Tickfaw Sunday and made a run to Lake Maurepas and the water was great!
Beautiful day to be on the water!
Looking forward to the party!!!!
"Come on down boys' the waters jus fine!"
