Dude I am SOOO in for this one! Can't wait to do my first "official" Poker Run...and get some camera time with the new boat! I quote "official" cause I'm not sure the one on the Calumet counts! Just waiting on insurance for the Fountain, then I'll be signing up. This is gonna be a blast.
I think Michelle and I are just going to stay at Hammond...finish the run, throw the boat on the hoist and drive over....how far is it on land, timewise, between Hammond and Pastrick?

Mike,
It's a 10 to 12 min. car ride from Hammond. I'm running back to Hammond to put the boat on the lift before the party. We have a room at Resorts for Friday and Saturday. I know after the party I won't feel like driving.
Last year a group of boaters stayed around Sunday and ran over to Michigan City. We could do Matey's or the Yacht Club for lunch. What does everyone think?

Does anyone have room for 1 experienced boater passenger?
My Father is in Geneva, IL, and does not have enough time to make it to VA/DC very often to ride on my boat. He is 65, but still runs with the big dogs. I would love to be able to find him a seat/bolster to make the Chicago Run, or even just a couple stops on his home turf. (He can have his Wife pick him up somewhere.) Gas, beer. food, etc. etc., covered without question.
Thank you all very much.

Brian we would be happy to have him join us on the BT, his wife is welcome as well. It will be a nice event with first class food and accomadations, even if she does not want to ride she can probably buy a meal ticket and that might make it more enjoyable for him
I know what it is like my Dad is in NY and I wish he had more time to spend boating with us.
