Just to add, if this looks like it might be impossible to make happen, or is uneconomic to do - they are, still, the best headers exhausts - I'd be interested in exploring some alternative options...

This is a good point that everyone should take note of too. The merc housings have quite a sharp moulding lip on them that internally that it's worth carefully sanding flush.

Hi All, Is anyone able to advise the best muffler than can run dry.
My motor is currently running dry to the tips exhaust with eickert headers.
However, too much cam overlap means I cannot run wet...
