Active- Congratulations great boat! While in Florida looking at another boat I stopped by Fastboats to see that Powerplay. First time ever in one. Very impressed! When I got home I decided I had to have one. I called to set up a sea trial and found out it was sold. I found this one a week or so later fresh out of the paint shop and bought it. Another proud new owner of a 33 Powerplay & new member of OSO. Hope to see you at the NYC poker run or maybe you could bring it up to Lake George for the Queens Demo Race in May.

Xpress, I love your boat. I looked into it before they decided to change the color but didn't want to wait to see what it was going to look like. It looks amazing and newer than mine. I like that it was newer but was tossing around the 496's compared to the HP500's. The valve springs were just done approx 40 hrs ago and the compression check was off the scale. I think I probably saved a few buck too?? Not sure. Nice boat.

I did the same thing. I looked at the 2000 with the 500EFI's that Xtreme has. {Nice clean boat} But decided to go with the 02, 496HO's. The boat just looked like new with the paint and all. Ther are a few more things i need to do to her, like paint the air vents for one. I've been talking to Fred at Trick Marine about a few other ideas. I can't wait to get it up here to get started and to find out how fast she will run with the 496's. If anyone has any idea let me know. I've heard everything from 75 to 80. I read somewhere on OSO that they raised the drive hieght with the 496 package and it is supposed to run a little stronger.

I looked at that boat too, but didnt want to go with the purple interior and liked the back seat in this boat better

I have to say this for a warning for everyone.... the boat mentioned above MAY have had some water issues. I got a PM from an OSO member recently who went to look at this very boat-- he said it smelled like mildew like it had some water sitting in the boat at some time. Just be careful!
