We always bought 10,000 lb. capacity tandem Myco or South Florida Trailer, trailers for any of the 33's...whether is was an inboard or an outboard model. 10,000 is fine for a lift as well. There is a good safety factor of weight capacity designed into all lifts. The only reason you would buy larger, would be if you were planning for a larger boat in the future, which you might want to consider. The PP brochure weights were decieving, as they represented completely bare hull & deck "fiberglass only" weights. I believe the brochure stated the 33's weight at 2,950 lbs. There were no light lay-up pleasure boat 33's. The lamination schedule was the same for every 33' SD, from 1990 on up. The race boats were a different story. 1987, 1988 & 1989 production lamination schedules were different as well. Hope this helps. Ed
