I just spoke with the the dealer and there's a 26 pitch on there now rather than the 28.

That's why I'm sceptical.
What's the weight of your AT? What's the weight of PP with a single?
The PP is quite a bit lighter I believe, as it is slightly "less tall" (less freeboard) and pretty light on the ameneties.
I do think the PP is faster than the AT with similar power from what I can gather.

I'd think the AT to be a "fairly similar boat" (biggish 28, 24 degree straightbottom), so I think the 26p should be a good start for this summer then and I can fine tune as I go. Thanks.

Oh,,and i take bets on that .........so lets hear a # if u don't believe me !!!

Also the At has a lower X then the PP and the angle of the transom is 2 deg. less and on and on.
Its like comparing a Cig. with an Apache,,,,they are similar but not the same at all.

Yeah, I'd love to see 80 but that's the math I was doing as well. The 29 stepped fountains I think can see 76 with a HP500, but might be a bit heavier. If I can break 75 I'll be surprised/pleased (this is with a standard Bravo 1).

I agree with the lower X on the AT. A 28 PP is probably faster then my AT...just not THAT much faster.

I dont even think the F1 29 Fountains ran over 90. My brother has a 29 Fountain with a 525 that has been rebuilt to over 600 HP. It runs low 80's. So, I do not believe you, but I am not a betting man either

But any ways,,,i think dialing in a 28 PP with all the right set up it can go 80 + with HP 500 !!!!
