I always thought PPs were perfectly built. When Dan took me through the shop seven years ago I never saw any flaws in the five boats I looked at, both inside and out. I would say he came as close to building a perfect boat as anyone in the industry.

Powerplay, Pedro Pulling a 38 Hull, that bay in the back was where the 38 Hulls were built nothing else was in there except that mold..

If you are refering to the one that had the busted gimbal and oil all over the dash etc...then no its a different boat. I thought the same thing and had to go look at my pics of that sunken one. There has been discussion about the "sinking" on here as well....not sure if its the current owner or the previous seller but they stated that "someone" just poored oil all over the boat hoping to get a better price and claim it was a sinking when it wasnt....
I don't recall a broken gimbal or oil... Years ago I was looking at a twin BB 28 and recieved many PM's saying to walk away. Just curious if it was the same one... |

Which is every single weekend (since I bought my boat anyways)!
I was out a few times last summer in very windy days where a 33 would have been good, a 38 better. Its a bad sign when its a sunny day, and you don't see another boat on the water (other than people idling near shore basically) just because of wind! |

Heres a few pics of it when it first came up for sale. As you can see by the graphics its not the same boat as the link to the craigslist boat:
What a shame....that was my old boat. It was one of the best handling, riding boats I've ever owned. |
Wes...any history on what happened to it if you know? The story i heard when that boat came up for sale...(and thats where i got the pics from)....was either the gimbal broke during a poker run and sank the boat....or the boat sank at the dock and when it hit bottom it broke the gimbal....not sure what exactly the story is but seems like it was in the drink for sure... :(
That wouldnt keep me from buying the boat though...know how they are made and liking projects i would redo this boat and use it no problem :) |

No clue as to what it was. The boat was tied up and apparently sank at the dock overnight. |

I remember that one. The one I'm talking about was definetly a 28 with twin BB's. It's a shame either way... |

#1184 was out with us for the poker run on Saturday with new power.

nice headliner.. no flaws will be seen by the underside of the glass.. If I had to buy a boat this instance .. I would build or buy a 38 PP or the new 41 Pantera from Pepe.. Both my favorites at the moment.
