I think an awesome boat would be a 33 with the 700/NXT package, and let active thunder do the rigging/paint/interior on the boat. AT has some of the best looking boats in the industry IMO.

they did their own Motors I think.

302Sport 05-20-2010 02:56 PM

yeah for awhile i think they did build their own motors. pat is the reason i own a PP today and has nothing but good things to say about the boats.

budd 05-20-2010 02:59 PM

What year did they change the hull(raise the freeboard) in the 33?

302Sport 05-20-2010 03:00 PM

94??? I think, but i like the way the old boats sit real low in the a$$ when parked. they look like a hotrod.

Sir I sprayed up the new mold on July 4 1994 and it was a comfortable 95 degrees that day.

MikeyFIN 05-20-2010 03:27 PM

Could have been one that was built before Danny Bought the molds.

MikeyFIN 05-20-2010 03:51 PM

I think itīs the same boat as in thread # 247.

Is that Reggie speed or everyday Joe Blow speed :grinser010:

Ain't going to be running 105 in my slop. Won't even get into the ride aspect.

Also, for running surface a 33PP would better be compared to a 38 fountain when you minus the 5 feet for the beak, notched transom, and built in swim platform.

In cold Fresh water (in the Baltic) a 35 Lightning staggered with 496HOīs Sportmasters and Herings didnīt go over 90... Iīve been in one for an hour WOT trying to go over..so a 33PP will give it a run anyday.

If rigging with trannies for sixes/arnesons on a 38' was the fuel tanks moved ahead for clearance? It looks pretty tight in post #231.
Can a bravo boat get rerigged to a #6 set-up without alot of trouble?

cowisl 05-20-2010 05:28 PM

some were made for stagger(or more room) some not. The cockpit was smaller as a result.

Here is another picture I think the engine room was originally dimensioned for the 6's ,it has been a while.

delsol 05-20-2010 05:29 PM

so a normal bravo boat couldn't be converted to a #6 side by side? Correct?

DareDevil 05-20-2010 05:32 PM

There is one guy here that claims to know it all , but in reality he is driving a truck and was never on all these boats....lol:lolhit:

It has been a while, I drew that hull traditionally one time and need to jolt the memory bank, there were a few options Danny was planning for it.

Steve 1 05-20-2010 06:45 PM

Wait there was a #6 38 Powerplay let me find the pictures.

Steve 1 05-20-2010 06:56 PM
