You're kidding right? Some of those "comparables" are a joke.
For those not clicking them all, there's Baja's, Fountains and a f'n Profile. In all seriousness, if you don't know the build quality differences between a Profile and a PP you probably shouldn't weigh in here. If a single one of those is worth what they're asking this boat w/ low hour 525's is worth more. The Formula and Fountain are nice boats, about the same size but much more common production boats. The Fountain w/ black motors is asking 80, the Formula w/ 525's 90. Which of those show this boat w/ 500 hp's is worth 50?
The single boat in there that isn't a lesser quality production boat is probably the AT. It is blessed with some of the worst all over purple/yellow paint I've ever seen, and side by side interior again in all purple/yellow (Jay no offense haha). If it had paint like this PP it'd be long sold at a higher price.

1. Boats in Florida bring more $$$ than most other locations so vessels and parts are more valued to people at this location.
Actually your incorrect. Boats here do not bring more money, we have an abundance of inventory which keeps prices down to some degree. Our boats are often used year round so most have more hours then say a boat in New England
2.Most people have to foot the bill of there toys themselves so wanting more(newer larger)and the best they always buy what makes sense from and economic standpoint, resale always comes into consideration as well.
I believe all of us foot the bills for our toys and no they do not buy what make sense from an economic standpoint. If that were the case no one would ever buy a new boat. Example: build a new 30ft outboard skater will set you back well over 200K, use it a year and you might get 100K
3. People take retail and deduct what they would pay for the large rigging off the top and come up w a value of the hull maximizing the money they see as a hulls value. They fail to believe a complete unit is worth more than one in pieces
Anytime you buy or build a custom offshore boat ie: PP, OL, Cig. Skater, MTI etcc you are buying it in pieces. The hull and deck have a price, you choose power which has a price, drives, interior etc.. I use Skater as an example because I've done business with Pete, when you get a quote for a boat the first price is the hull and deck then each option. This is not about believing a complete unit is worth more then one in pieces it's about the fact that a boat such as mine has a value and the buyer has the option to power it as they desire.

Is it listed? I have not seen it so I ask. Personnally , Its in the ball park. If it were me maybe I would try to get it for in the 40's. A couple years ago now I kicked the tires on a few PP's and I think this one would have got my interest. As a matter of fact as I had my own engines I think I would be drooling. Its a nice boat, list it and see where the chips fall. Too bad the market does really suck for this stuff.

This is not a hull missing parts that I think is worth Gold as you say. It's a complete boat minus power and drives the same as you'd buy when spec'ing a new OL, Skater,Cig etc.. Am I to assume that every custom builder annoys you when they price a boat? There is not a single builder out there that charges under 130K for a comparable bare hull and deck ( no paint, rigging, gauges etc..) as an example a new 32ft Doug Wright race boat will set you back 150K for a hull and deck.
As for the NADA Values. I'm not sure where you were looking. Here is the pricing for a 2001 with 500's and no trailer.

And Here is the value for a 2003 with the same equipment

If we were to use this as a guide. 2001 for 60k and 2003 for 80k that would put a 2005 (such as mine ) at 100K. add in the price difference going from 500's to 525's and add in the trailer and an allowance for the paint and your roughly 125K..

Yes I have the boat listed on powerboat listings, asking 49K with the triple axle trailer and brand new interior. The boat has all gauges, indicators, GPS and rigging to the Bilge. When the boat was stolen they didn't damage anything, they removed the power and drives so all of the harnesses, fuel lines steering lines etc. are there. Install engines, drives and tabs and plug everything in
