Thank you for the positive viewpoint. 49k is my asking price but im open to offers and trades. I realize money invested is not returned in full but I feel strongly that my boat with a perfect 35K Hunter paint job has more value then an all white hull or one with dated graphics. I'm also including a brand new stereo, box anchor, ropes, lines and a bunch of ancillary parts and as you stated a like new triple axle trailer with new spare wheel and tire and box.
Someone asked about steering and yes it's all there from the steering wheel/helm back

I think if you also added getting it fully rigged as an option w/ low hour motors, maybe not merc's to keep price down that would draw buyers too. Financing a complete boat is a totally different story than just a hull, and then having cash to complete?

But that depends on how quick you want to sell, as I do agree the paint is awesome, the boat is one of few and with new interior you are probably pretty right on it's value. Just for people that don't have the engines already or ability to rig themselves they'll end up at more than "its worth" but isn't that always the case anyways. In reality I think that is just fine, it isn't meant for a flipper but for someone who wants it, wish I had the means as I know I want it.

Overview of the hashing everyone is going through:

1. Boats in Florida bring more $$$ than most other locations so vessels and parts are more valued to people at this location.
2.Most people have to foot the bill of there toys themselves so wanting more(newer larger)and the best they always buy what makes sense from and economic standpoint, resale always comes into consideration as well.
3. People take retail and deduct what they would pay for the large rigging off the top and come up w a value of the hull maximizing the money they see as a hulls value. They fail to believe a complete unit is worth more than one in pieces

I been dealing w this in the world of salvaged/projects vs privately owned vehicles and motorcycles for years now, a guy who buys from a salvage auction retails his item at the max the market will yield so he can profit, not what it really is worth. This guy will spend a third of what it costs to repair it properly, opposed to doing it correctly so he can sell it and maximize his profit. This seller usually attracts a buyer who is less educated and looks at the deal as a bargain opposed to true amount of the project. The seller doesnt care about anything other than profit margins, for someone like me it's annoying bc I have to reverse patch up jobs to make it correct and I can't stomach seeing nice items of value butchered.
Thus you end up w a end product that is put together with all the shortcuts and basically is a POS compare to what is out there in the market. The project in the end enters the market again at the low end of the retail price spectrum as free and clear item w no bad history!

There you have it: the nonsense of 98% of rebuilt projects in the real world. In all fairness there are 2% of folks who do things right or refuse to do it at all, they do exist but far and few between!

Boat is very cool but overpriced like it sits, and is worth less then 80k turn key low hours.

Nada has a 2003 at $51,050-58,350 Turn Key 500EFI's.

Here are some options listed 90k and below PLUS you can offer LESS $$. 2003 or newer (easiest to get a loan on)

With 80-120k to spend its not even a comparison

Good luck either way on the sale only time will tell. But there are still a lot of deals out there, and there are also boats older then 2003 that cash and excellent credit buyers will also be comparing to this PP.

OffshoreExcursion- There is absolutely no way in hell that a 500EFI 33PP 2000+ would sell in the 50's... Not even close, ever. lol, i mean come on man a 302 baja with 500EFI's would bring that or perhaps a tad more.

Its all good man, you know I love the PP's! Or I would not have taken pics and video of your sweet ride and shared them!

Just sharing what Nada says. They say 50's, I said under 80k.

Wonder what Irishtornados 302 sold for??? Not like it matters your comment just made me think of that.

Drives me nutz that so many people think a hull missing parts is still worth GOLD! No offense to the OP, just a pet peeve of mine.

Cool boat and I hope it finds a good home

You're kidding right? Some of those "comparables" are a joke.

For those not clicking them all, there's Baja's, Fountains and a f'n Profile. In all seriousness, if you don't know the build quality differences between a Profile and a PP you probably shouldn't weigh in here. If a single one of those is worth what they're asking this boat w/ low hour 525's is worth more. The Formula and Fountain are nice boats, about the same size but much more common production boats. The Fountain w/ black motors is asking 80, the Formula w/ 525's 90. Which of those show this boat w/ 500 hp's is worth 50?

The single boat in there that isn't a lesser quality production boat is probably the AT. It is blessed with some of the worst all over purple/yellow paint I've ever seen, and side by side interior again in all purple/yellow (Jay no offense haha). If it had paint like this PP it'd be long sold at a higher price.
