I just talked with someone and was told they have not closed yet but do have the keys and have been working very hard to get things in order to re-open. Sounds like they have some employees also. Should be a matter of time.

I was the Power Quest dealer in VA they came and got the boat from. That 32SC had alot of history(it was shipped from the factory unwinterized with cracked blocks....etc..). It is sad to say but I believe it will be awhile before you ever see PQ back up and running producing a quality boat again. There is no way they will be open and producing by the new year. That will never happen! Maybe by 2008!!

Nice to see some news comming. All of you that live near the plant keep us posted on activity.
Relative to that 32 When I was in the plant just before it closed there was a very nice 32 sitting on a trailor inside. Looked clean and well cared for. Not sure if it was new but that was in Sept of 05.

Bill, normally I would say "welcome to OSO" to a newbie, but your first post does not warrant that. I'm sorry for your issues with this ONE boat, but I sincerely hope you did not come on OSO to air your issues with the prior owner.

You said it yourself....the boat had a lot of history.

Merry Christmas to you and your family! Look forward to spending some more time at your new marina next summer.
