Dave , good luck in your next venture , never thought i would catch up to you on this thread , i have afew buddys w/ PQs , there not a bad boat , but there not a SUNSATION , my 25 is 4 sale and hoping to find a nice 288 , 28 silencers are nice but not fast enough ! Hey Dave, this is MP's rally buddy. Glad to see you back on the forum. I'll miss your spot on information for the start of the run to Mac & Ray's next year! Just busting your chops, Dude. It was a pleasure helping you and Sunsation out at the rally over the years. Best of luck in your next endeavor. Hopefully you'll remain in the boating industry and our paths will cross again. Not sure MP can take another Miami outing unless it is factory sponsored. The bar tabs at Finnegan's Way were a killer! So were the Captain and Cokes!!

Biggest problem we had with Finnegan's Way was the owner kept feeding us free 12 oz captains, especially the last one "to go"

Good thing we stayed there late every nite. Made us forget about that dive hotel we had to go back to which served the 3 oz captain and cokes for twice the price.

Someone posted they sent an e-mail and it bounced back. I sent today to the factory and it went through. Sure hope some good word comes from the plant soon. I have the feeling the potential new owners have yet to close .

Sorry, I stand corrected! The e-mail I sent to PQ came back this morning.

That's for sure on the late nights. One has to wonder if they'll even be at the shows this year. There's a lot of people that are unaware as to whats going on at PQ. And if they have PQ in the running as a choice for a new boat and they fail to show up at the shows it could be a big loss in income once those potential buyers here the news.

A 28 PQ Silencer is a TRUE step hull and with the same engine it will run as fast or faster than any 288
But then again when your in a PQ you are not in a hurry to get there you just want to enjoy the awesome ride.
