And the awesome ride stuff - sorry, but I have owned both - and I'll take a Sun any day for rough ride. But PQ has more room in the cabin if that is what you want. Like I said, depends on what you are looking for.

Iam just comparing the 28PQ with the 288 Sunsation.
the 280PQ came out in 1999 and had a real step from day 1.
on the other hand the 288 had a (fake) step up until 2002.
Both great boats if you ask me

The Ultra is a newer model of the Precept. I bought a new 24 back in 1997 and I believe it to be the first year they were made. We really enjoyed ours alot but just wanted a bigger boat is why it is gone. The thing we liked was the way the space was used, it has alot of room for a 24' boat, and if equiped with the same power I was able to out run alot of boats in our size range (232 rinkers, 232 and 252 baja's etc)
Very nice looking set up, Good Luck

that boat just caught my eye i currently have a 27 laser
but i called that dealer and he said they would be at the detroit boat show this year (thats encouraging) with 4 2006 various models including that one posted just thought it was a good looking 24 ft boat (replaces the 237 stryker) he also said the new owners were meeting again today and they will either have a huge blowout sale at the detroit show or taking orders.... still up in the air

Here is from fresh intel on PQ, at least I think, I have not read every page in this thread but here goes. The new owner/buyer of PQ is a company called TMB, they are in meetings firming up details today and should be back in buisiness apap. Long live PQ!!
