O.K. another question??? What size props are you running on your 29. Th boat we're looking at has a set of labbed Bravo's 24p and a set of Mirage 23p. Boat comes with twin 310 hp.
She runs 68 with the Mirage and 65 with the Bravo's.

My 1995 carb 29 came with 23 Mirage from the factory,I tried a set of 25Mirage but it had a hard time spinning them.
the 1999 EFI 29 came with 25 mirage Plus,and I later on got a set of bravos 26.it ran better with the 26 but faster with the 25.

Mine (1999 Enticer with 310 MPI'S, Bravo 1's) has 25 (3) blade Mirage Plus. The (4) blade will ride better but lose a little top speed. The best GPS 69mph with the (3) blade. I think This model would handle better with full hydraulic steering and some good K-planes. Over all a GREAT boat.

I have 23p mirgaes, 23p mirage + (labbed) and a set of bravo 4 blades 20p repitched to almost 22p

The best I have run is 75 with the labbed but it was a chine walking sum***** I had the k-planes down to -1 below the hull

I run the 23p mirgaes as my everyhday prop and will run 68-69 all day long, and the 4 blades are my LOTO props, I drop to 66 as a top speed, but I have a lot better midrange control and they "feel" better.

I have 502s K-plans and full hyd steering.

I have never been able to match the 75 since I put the the stereo in (and all the batteries), best I can do now is 72
