for my 280 -- unless i have the motor at 4 or higher -- it never chine walks - i do have external add-a-ram hydraulic steering.

I'm not an expert on Powerquests hull and x and y dimensions of there drive placement but single engine step hulls will have more of a tendency to walk the dog on you than in a twin engine boat. I would try the oposite on a twin step revenge and at WOT try running your drives at 4 and your tabs at 2 and see if this settles the boat down some. Again it is a short hull.

My 270 Laser has a built 454, running about 550hp out of it and use to chine walk before I did the IMCO 2" shorty. I got more top end and a better quaility of a ride. Side by side with my buddies boat I run 72mph.

Fitz, I have a labbed 26P Bravo, the previous owner also installed a 1" spacer on mine and picked up a couple mph. I have had mine to 69.5 gps with a 502, salt water
