Did you ever find the problem?Maybe you need to "tap" on the tach to find the rpm you lost? If it were only that simple. My GPS speedo quit working for three while in Destin for the forth. On the way to the launch to pick up the boat it started to work again.I'm just glad it "fixed" itself.Bob

Hey Bob...I havent looked at the boat in a few days.....I just got my compressor back that I lent to my buddy....I will diconnect the water line and blow it out, maybe theres a piece of crap in there. I will keep my fingers crossed.
I'm thinking that the rpm I lost after the oil change might be due to the different viscosity of the oils. I am not sure what oil was in the boat when I bought it but the new oil is Royal Purpal 20w50.....it might be too thick......dunno.

Powerquest makes a beautiful boat. We've had a 29 enticer and currently have a 340 vyper. The craftmanship, quality, and support behind these boats is amazing. Some people say they wont compare them to formulas or fountains, but I would give them a run for the money any day. They may not be the fastest boats, but they are fast, but are more geared on luxury than the other powerboat manufacturers. Ive toured the factory and the quality in these boats is unreal.
